1932 Ford Pick-up

1932 Ford Hiboy Pick-up. Built LHD. Fibreglass cab & doors by Ettienne (Street Rod Factory) tweaked back to original spec but still chopped 2″ on a stamped and boxed ’32 Brookeville chassis…Cab strongly reinforced with an inner roll cage.

Pete & Jakes front end with disc brakes and a 9” Currie diff. Hidden brake booster & master cylinder under the floor. Steel mini load bin made by Fast Eddie and bead-rolled by Rian Emerich. ’40 Ford pickup stamped tailgate with ’51 Pontiac LED taillights. 350 HO Chev engine with a Comp cams Thumpr cam and a 4 speed 700R auto gearbox, Windshield opening mechanism designed by Bern van Gass (airconditioned).

Bomber seats made by Barry Ashmole from Stellenbosch with forklift seatbelts. Removable drilled aluminium steering wheel on a bare bones Speedway column. Guide vintage headlights with the turn signals on top. Stewart Warner retro gauges in an Auburn style surround on a ’32 Ford roadster dash. ’34 Ford outer door handles. 7 drilled holes in the sun visor for good luck. Electric windows.Tall Lokar shifter with a (3 little piggies) Big Bad Wolf gearknob. Red steelies with mini moons & trim rings. Ally fuel tank custom made by Barry from Walkerville. Ally aircleaner and ally spreader bar ends from O’Brien Truckers. Ed Roth-like wild Speedy Spud graphics designed by George Hunt.  The red and white pin striping was done by Johan Locke.

A Chevy cam used as the front spreader bar…Hence TWINCAM !!
